Clubmark and being a Kidmore End player, official or spectator
We were awarded ECB Clubmark Status in October 2007, re-designated for a second time in May 2013 and re-designated for a third time in May 2017. This means that the ECB recognises that we are a ‘safe, effective and child friendly’ club. As a member of Kidmore End CC you are guaranteed that we have a base level of quality in all areas of Health and Safety and Child Welfare and Protection.
The club also actively encourages young cricketers to make the transition from junior and school cricket to senior club cricket. In achieving Clubmark status we are also recognised as having a proven track record in administration, player and facility development. The Clubmark award recognises the professionalism and our excellent conduct across many different areas of junior cricket.
This means we expect our members to treat everyone equally, display high standards of behaviour, promote the positive aspects of cricket e.g. fair play and above all enjoy playing our great game.
All our safeguarding and welfare policies are displayed in the pavilion and on this website under 2019 Juniors Information.
Our Welfare Officer is Renate Berry, her contact details are on display in the clubhouse. If Renate is unavailable any safeguarding issues should be referred to Mark New, Club Chairman or David New, Club Secretary.
