Are you looking for junior cricket in the local area? Then look no further…

We are pleased to have one of the friendliest and longest established local junior sections of any club. Spaces are available from ages 3 (little crickets) and upwards into our Academy side.

Kidmore End Cricket Club hold the prestigious ECB Clubmark Award an essential requirement for any club running a junior section or a parent looking for a new club to join.

As an ECB Clubmark Club this means at Kidmore End will deliver a junior cricket programme which comprises the following standards:

  • A high standard of duty of care and safeguarding of children
  • A planned and The cricket programme which is delivered by qualified coaches
  • We are a club which is rooted in our local community
  • The club management team and structure meets the high standards required by the ECB

Our facilities for junior cricket coaching and matches are second to none and far superior to the majority of local clubs. We are lucky enough to have three practice nets, bowling machines, slip catching cradle, rebound catching nets and more state of the art equipment to learn whilst having fun.

The main emphasis is on inclusive fun for ages and abilities. Our coaches are ECB qualified to help players improve on the basics and to learn the game. Since 2015 we have engaged the professional coaching services of Performance Cricket with the aim of raising the already high standards we have set for youth cricket. Guy Ashby of Performance Cricket is a product of the Kidmore End system and our First Team Vice Captain. A testament to what we have already achieved.

Berkshire Youth Cricket League and friendly fixtures are played against other local clubs over the season. This allows players earn valuable competitive experience in a fun, safe and well managed game situation.

Our Pavilion has a fully licensed bar which is open on practice evenings serving a wide range of reasonably priced drinks and snacks. We also have full disabled access, baby changing and snug bar if you want to watch TV or sit somewhere quieter to catch up on emails.
