Girls and womens taster and training

A soggy Sunday turned into a terrific Tuesday with Kidmore End Ladies and Girls this week!

An inaugural taster session saw a rather damp Gallowstree Common welcome a few hardy cricketers that brought cakes and cheer to what was a miserable and apparently spring morning ready to welcome new members to the club!

A few bowling drills and some balls hit in the net before the rain started again and rain stopped play! New players always welcome though….and hopefully the weather will continue on its upwards spell.

Tuesday saw the Ladies and Girls section of the club enjoy a spring sun soaked evening- a world apart from Sunday.

Some cracking bowling and fielding practice from the Girls sections in the nets working on their line and length, some real improvements at such an early point in the season which made the coaches very optimistic for the season ahead!

The ladies were getting their eye in with the bat and the ball with some fantastic drives being observed, rapid fielding and accurate throwing to round off an evening and developing of the ever expanding of these grass roots teams.

We always welcome players of all abilities at KECC, so please email keccgirls@gmail.com for 8-15 yr olds and keccladies@gmail.com for 16+.
