Girls U11 - Super 6’s tournament
A surprising ‘good to go’ email was received on a damp, soggy Sunday morning, as the Kidmore End CC Girls, amidst grey skies travelled to Maidenhead and Bray CC for their first Super 6 softball festival mornings of the season.
What a good call it was, what came was a glorious morning of warm sunshine and great grass roots cricket.
Playing in 3 games the girls showed great resilience and positivity as with each game they made improvements. Culminating in the last game of the day against Falkland CC.
In this game their bowling was more accurate, giving away only a handful of extras and their speed of getting the ball in was superb- this led to them winning this game; their first win for this current team.
Certainly deserved, onwards to what the rest of the season has in store.
