About us

Kidmore End Cricket Club was founded in 1863 and is one of the oldest clubs in the Thames Valley. The club has a rich history with the most recent achievement being the newly constructed state of the art clubhouse which was completed in 2011 boasting an exceptional set of facilities.

As a club, we pride ourselves on being built on a foundation of providing inclusive cricket for all ages and abilities and are proud to hold ECB ClubMark.

New players are always welcome to play in any of our weekend teams. The club runs four senior Saturday teams in the Thames Valley Cricket League, Sunday friendlies and Blast Fixtures catering for all abilities.

Junior cricket is provided for boys and girls from the ages of 5 to 15. Our extensive club coaching programme is staffed by qualified coaches supported by club members which ensures that the junior section receives the highest quality coaching at one of the most picturesque grounds in the region.

All junior boys cricket will run on a Friday evening (2024 starts on 26th April) including ECB All Stars. The bar will be open for parents to enjoy refreshments and we hope to continue or hugely successful food trucks initiative. KECC really is the place for parents and children to be on a Friday evening. Girls sessions are on Tuesdays 18:00 - 19:30 (2024 starts 16th April)

We are always looking for new players, scorers, umpires, coaches, ground staff and supporters. We have a fully licenced bar and hold regular social events throughout the season such as the late August Bank Holiday President’s XI v Chairman’s XI cricket match with accompanying BBQ, live music, cream teas, bouncy castle, real ale and other attractions.

Senior practice is held every Thursday at the club from 6-30pm and a warm welcome awaits all new faces interested in joining our great club.
